Dominique likes to say that she didn’t find the coaching but that coaching found her! In 2002, she had the opportunity to work with a certified coach and has been fascinated by the long-lasting changes that this exploration has allowed her to bring in her life. In 2010, she made her wish to explore the other side of the fence come true and became a certified coach in Integral Development. For more than 10 years, Dominique has been committed to being a mentor for public servants. As a certified coach, she now particularly enjoys working with executives and managers from Generation Y in supporting them in their personal quest for leadership excellence and work life balance. Since she herself lived through major shifts in her career, she also finds a great motivation in working with executives who wish to explore beyond the boundaries of their current experience.

After 20 years in communications as a host, anchor and journalist for private and public networks (TVA, Société Radio-Canada, TFO) she joined the federal public service in 1998 as Director of Communications for the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons. She has worked at senior levels with Communication Canada, Social Development Canada, Indian and Northern Affairs, the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages and National Defence. While still a senior executive, she devotes her free time to executive coaching and is happy to work in either official language.

Dominique is a certified coach in Integral Development (New Ventures West, California), through Convivium in Ottawa. She holds a Bachelor degree in History, from Université Laval (Québec) and has completed the Living Leadership Program with the Canada School of Public Service, the Public Executive Program from Queen’s as well as 2 certificates in Economy and Marketing. She studied piano for over 10 years. Along with music, she enjoys jogging, skiing, outdoors, yoga and cooking. Dominique successfully completed the Marathon des deux Rives in 2009.

Dominique is always enthusiastic about learning something, whether it is in her personal or professional life and she is a member of the coaching community of practice.
